East Linton

East Linton After School Club provides care for children ages 5-12. We provide children with a range of different, fun, new and exciting opportunities. We are run from East Linton Village Hall. The children in our care are collected by two members of staff before walking down to the Village Hall each afternoon. Once hands are washed it’s time for snack for whatever healthy food the children have chosen the week previous. During snack staff, will chat with the children about any news they have also sharing with the children that day’s activities. Once snack is finished the children take their plate and cup to the dish washer then are free to choose what they would like to do that day. Our after school club is a safe, fun and play centred environment where article 31 of the UNCRC Children’s Rights “Every child has the right to relax, play and take part in a wide range of cultural and artistic activities.” Is at the centre of everything we do. We are advocates for child’s play and work together with the children to ensure we deliver a service they are happy with. At East Linton club we explore all sixteen different types of play and children are viewed as experts in their own play.
