East Linton

East Linton After School Club provides care for children ages 5-12. We provide children with a range of different, fun, new and exciting opportunities and run from East Linton Village Hall. The children in our care are collected by three members staff members at the school before walking down to the Village Hall each afternoon.

While still at the school we let the children know what is for snack and the planned activities for that afternoon. Once hands are washed it’s time for snack for whatever healthy food the children have chosen the week previous, our favourites being cheese and ham wraps, croissants and noodles! During snack, staff will sit with the children and have a chat about their day. Once snack is finished the children take their plate to the basin and then are free to play. We often like to explore the local community and use the park, get in touch to find out what we have planned at East Linton After School Club.

Our after school club is a safe, fun and play centred environment where article 31 of the UNCRC Children’s Rights “Every child has the right to relax, play and take part in a wide range of cultural and artistic activities.” is at the centre of everything we do. We are advocates for children’s play and work together with the children to ensure we deliver a service they are happy with. At East Linton club we explore all sixteen different types of play and children are viewed as experts in their own play.
