Covid-19 Club Closures

On 19 March 2020, the Deputy First Minister announced that all local authority schools and nurseries in Scotland would close from the end of the school day on Friday 20 March 2020, as part of the Scottish Government’s response to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, unless they are involved in the provision of emergency childcare.

If your child attends one of our out of school clubs, these will have closed, or is now providing childcare for key workers. To check your eligibility to attend these please contact your local authority who will be running these hubs.

ELOSCN staff have now been furloughed in line with government guidance.

Our staff who do not fall into the vulnerable categories or pose a risk of spreading the virus to those at the vulnerable group have volunteered to attend the local authority hubs over our 4 council authorities and you may see them in one of these centres should your family have a need for this service.

Please note that while some of our staff are volunteering for this service in a time of need, we are not leading this service and may not have the answers you are looking for.
